Meet the Founder 

I'm Lacey Gotshall, a 42-year-old third-generation horsewoman who was nearly born on horseback (literally — my mom was riding just hours before I arrived!). I've had horses my entire life and grew up competing in high school rodeo. These days, I enjoy peaceful trail rides and supporting other horse owners.

I live on a 23-acre farm in the Sandhills near the Carolina Horse Park with my beloved animals — three horses, a Mini Jerusalem Donkey, and a Shetland Pony. They’re more than just companions — they’re family, and they inspire everything I do through The Horse Concierge.

The idea for The Horse Concierge was born from the journey I took trying to help my heart horse, JD, who suffers from navicular disease. When conventional treatments stopped working, I began assembling a holistic team — including farriers, herbalists, nutritionists, and vets from all over the country. It was overwhelming, stressful, and often led me down endless online rabbit holes.

Professionally, I’m a Program Manager with 25 years of experience in outsourcing and procurement. Matching people with providers is literally what I do for a living — and now, I’m using that same skillset to help horse owners just like you.
