Meet the Founder 

I’m Lacey Gotshall — a lifelong horsewoman, third-generation rider, and the proud caretaker of a small farm in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Horses have been part of my life since before I could walk, and they’ve shaped who I am as a person. Today, my herd includes JD, my heart horse, Aspen, Dominic, Bug and a few quirky companions who remind me every day why I built The Horse Concierge.

The idea for The Horse Concierge was born during JD’s battle with navicular disease. When conventional treatments failed, I found myself trying to build a care team from scratch — vets, farriers, nutritionists, and holistic providers. It was exhausting, confusing, and lonely. But in the middle of that struggle, I realized something important: no horse owner should have to face this kind of overwhelm alone.

Professionally, I’ve spent 25 years in outsourcing and procurement — connecting the right people to the right services. I took that same expertise and applied it to the equestrian world, creating a platform where horse owners can find trusted providers, connect with others who’ve walked the same road, and feel supported instead of lost.

The Horse Concierge is built on three values that come straight from that journey:

• Trust – your horse’s care deserves more than guesswork. We have added "badges" to signify some of the why, a rating system so you can see who is doing great work
  
  

• Clarity – no more endless rabbit holes, just the right people when you need them, providers from across the country being curated by local horseman regionally.
  
  

• Connection – because horses bring us together, and no one should navigate their care alone. Can't find something? Reach out! We  have a network of horseman (and woman) who might know someone that isn't listed YET.
  
  

This isn’t just a directory. It’s a mission: to give horse owners peace of mind and to ensure horses everywhere get the care they deserve.
