Meet the Founder 

I’m Lacey Gotshall — a lifelong horsewoman, third-generation rider, and the proud caretaker of a small farm in the Sandhills of North Carolina. Horses have been part of my life since before I could walk, and they’ve shaped who I am as a person. Today, my herd includes JD, my heart horse, Aspen, Dominic, Bug, and a few other quirky companions who remind me daily why I built The Horse Concierge.

The idea for The Horse Concierge was born during JD’s battle with navicular disease. When conventional treatments failed, I found myself piecing together a care team — vets, farriers, nutritionists, and alternative providers. It was exhausting, confusing, and at times lonely. But in the middle of that struggle, I realized something important: no horse owner should have to navigate their horse’s care alone.

Professionally, I’ve spent 25 years in outsourcing and procurement — connecting the right people to the right services. I took that same expertise and applied it to the equestrian world, creating a platform where horse owners can:
